Tire Repair Kit?

Well it's time for new tires and I plan to ditch the RFTs and go for a set of Eagle F1 Asymetrics. I recall someone posting a link for a tire plug kit a while back but I could not find the post. Can anyone dig up the post or recommend a good solution?

Slime (and others) make a tire pump and goo combo. Relatively inexpensive, iirc.

I was looking at the Continental ContiComfortKit pump, which also comes with sealant. But I also like the idea of the plug kit, just to be safe.

Just one question, though, doesn't yours have the in-tire TPM? My '07 does and I'm probably going to put back on RFTs-don't want to ever have to slime those sensors. I've never found a definite answer if that gums them up permanently, but I'm sure it's not good for them.

The 2006's still had the old style setup that compared wheel rpms, so no problem there. I did read that the goo will mess up the sensors though. A plug kit, of course, would not have that problem.

Lucky me. :(
