Tire repair cube in Z4M roadster trunk (boot)

I'm looking to upgrade to an M roadster and saw the tire repair tool cube in the trunk. Is this removeable?

I can fit my bike in the trunk of my 2.5 roadster just fine. The reason I need to removed it is I won't be able to take my bike with me in the M if I can't take this out. Thanks!

From the tread, it sounds like it's certainly the battery in the coupe. However, the thread makes it sound like its different in the roadster vs. the coupe? is this true?

No, both are exactly the same, the roadster in question isn't an ///M, which is why it's different.

Thanks wondermike. But that does suck for me. I'll have to do some testing with what fits back there now. To make things worse, I'm not sure of what my options are for putting a trailer hitch on an M like I did to my 2.5. I just need to have some bike transport option.

I am amazed a Bike fits in any Z4? I want to see pics! I needed the seats down and the front wheel off to get a mountain bike in my M3. But yup, it's the battery. How about a rack? Googling brought up this:
