I see where we're an affiliate of Tire Rack. Do we mention anything from here, or does it matter? Any discounts? I hear a lot of great things about them.

If you place an order with them do so by clicking on the "Tirerack" link and that will result in some monies returned from your purchase to support the forum.

I have purchase both tires and rims from them and they are excellent to deal with...

I have not actually done business with Tire Rack, but I have always heard good things. That said, when I recently needed to replace my left rear (long story) I was suprised to find that I was able to get the tire and installation cheaper at a local Bridgestone dealer than just the tire (before shipping and installation) from Tire Rack!

Actually, I was more curious about tire service then actual purchasing. Won't be purchasing anything there but I may be requiring their services only in the near future. I will call them if and when I'm ready, thanks!

Sorry, I maybe should've made it a bit more clear as to the affiliaton setup we have now. I did post a thread about it a while ago but I think it my have gone by the wayside. Basically we are in an affiliate scheme with a group of companies, Tire rack being one of them. WLH is right, when you place an order through clicking the banner the forum gets a small kick back from the target company. You may have noticed banner adverts all over certain other sites advertising everything from life insurance to flame retardant underwear (ok, not sure how that entered my mind!)... My idea here is to provide simple, subtle and non offensive adverts for companies that have been recommended by the forum members. As Tire Rack have been mentioned time and time again I decided they would be a good candidate.

Unfortunately Tire Rack isn't one of these companies that offer discounts, if they did I would've got them to already. Saying that, they do seem good value and have had good reviews from several members on here. As far as I am concerned use them if you would like to... if you do click the banner to place your order it will help us, but it is by no means a cash cow for us, it just helps a little, so if you prefer to deal direct then that's cool too :)

Sorry if I didn't explain this better the first time, but I just want it to be clear that the primary goal is for a win-win situation... I will not advertise any company on here that I do not genuinely believe to be a provider of good products or services.

just tell em u belong to e46fanatics.....

or buy them cheap from private person. $350 shipped for new Goodyear Ealge F1's beats any discount u can get from tirerack ;)

Tire Rack use to give cash as the kickback for their affiliates..and they did have discounts for members for different month's of the year, just use to plug in whatever 'theme' banner they had going..

Must've changed in the last few years..or wrong option picked..

I bought a setup similar to WLH's. Outstanding customer service from start to finish.

After the first set of Michelin PS2's mounted on ASA rims were delivered to my front porch went missing, they sent a second set... UPS could never track down where the first set went. :x

In terms of shipping tires they're great. When I lived in Va, I didn't think much of their local install shops though. But I suppose that's really hit or miss. It's not a concern for me here in Ga. I'll order the tires from them. An then take it to this lil mom an pop shop down the street from where I live. They do great installs and will put on tires even though you didn't purchase it from them.
