Looking to get a tire compressor in the next few days as part of my break down kit ,for a road trip I've got coming up ,anyone got any advice on which to buy , Ring compressor looks ok

There are a couple of Ring compressors - I've got this one - it won the What Car tyre inflator group test and has worked flawlessly

I carry one of these as it's high volume compresor and has the option to pump gooo in should you need it.

Paid £25, so this priced one is extortionate.

Another vote for Ring has done me very well for the last five years and was given a big work out for a year when it went to various track days and others forgot theirs :thumbsup:

The 2nd one linked is the 1 I got albeit marked Conti Comfort Kit. Paid £8.99 inc p&p from an eBay seller and the goo is dated 2017.

I hope I never have to use it.
 
Thanks for the replies :D. The Ring looks a good buy may get that ,does it fit down by the battery in the boot? I don't have an amp would be handy if I does :lol:

Yes it does - make sure you get the 600, not the 630 which is a similar price but a different shape and size.

I got one from Costco that has a rechargeable battery in. It can jump start a car, and can run the compressor under its own steam. It also has a 12V cigarette lighter socket output.

Compressor is good! Only time I've used the battery in anger was when I forgot my iPhone charger. Walked into the B&B with the monstrosity under my arm and my car charger. Funny looks but I charged mine and my girlfriends phones simultaneously...

It's a bit of a lump but seeing as I occasionally park my cars for months at a time it's good for the peace of mind.
