Tips on camping at the Spa Grand Prix?

Hi guys and gals. My friend and I have decided to do a road trip (in my M Roadster :)) to go see the Spa grand prix in a few weeks, neither of us have been to a live race before and I would appreciate some pointers.

1) We want to camp - Where is best to do so and how to go about it? Should we take our own tent and supplies or is it best to hire one there? We want somewhere lively with a bit of partying.
2) We just want the general admission tickets, should I book these separately or is there a package that includes a camping spot and weekend GA tickets?
3) On top of camping costs will I have to book a parking spot for my car?

Any other pointers are greatly appreciated
 
Did this a couple of years ago! Think we booked the camping with our tickets and was fine. There wasn't much for partying I'm afraid, just a lively camp site. There was some French lads towing a 3 seater sofa (with 2 blokes on it) from the back of a Clio, when the sofa fell apart they were towing a ground sheet in a circuit on the field where we had pitched and people were jumping on the ground sheet and holding on for dear life! When they fell off, someone else would jump on, a bit like a Bannana boat in a field.

I'd had a few beers and without saying a word to my mates, when it stopped near me I found myself flying round a field at about 30mph lay on my stomach - YOLO! :thumbsup:

I'm also going to spa for my first time this year :) lets hope the weather is kind :D
 
Should be good, ended up just booking a pitch in the official green campsite as it was cheapest and closest to the Kemmel straight. Can't wait now!
