Every time I walk up to my Z4, I'm reminded of its timeless appeal. The lines and proportions are perfect

Sterling grey is IMO the nicest colour and looks good with the orange indicators. Others will of course have their own opinions :poke:

They are interesting to look at from all sorts of different angles, especially the way the body panel curves and creases reflect the light.

When I was in my late teens and early 20s most of the cars on the road where boring looking boxes, Morris Oxford type cars. The 2 seat roadsters of the day broke the mould, then in the 70s we had some really nice looking cars like Ford capris and Opel Mantas. Today we have gone back to boring looking suv boxes, thank the gods BMW made the Z4. and still do.

MikeyH, my sentiments exactly! 😊👍
She has an elegance about her, smooth lines and stunning profile!

I keep turning my gaze back to look at her just one more time, I guess I am in love with her! LOL! 🥰

They really don't look their age do they? I still can't help looking at it after parking.

Mine has the same wheels as Mikeys', but a different roof!

And a bigger, better engine

I think calling something 'Timeless' is very subjective, different cars mean different things to different people. I think, for owners and admirers it's not just an aesthetic connection, it's very emotional, memories etc all play a part in the love story that connects man to machine.

Somebody asked me soon after I bought the Zed how long did I intend to keep the car. My answer was that I would probably "drive it into the ground", a reply which was a bit off hand and flippant at the time but, having spent nine grand on this thing I thought I'd be unlikely to be in a position to buy another car in the forseeable future. This was in 2016, years before the horrors of compulsory EV ownership were on the horizon.
I have a feeling that I will be in the ground long before the Zed will be.
