I have been looking around the forum for a while now but I think it might be time to introduce myself now that I finally got a Z4 too 
I have been looking at Z4s for a couple of years now but only just decided that it was the right time to get one. I do change my cars often so I don't know how long it will last, but first impressions show that it will stay for a while!
Just to give a quick car history.. I've had BMW's since I first got my licence with a couple of short breaks with Mini's but I guess they are BMW too! I've had a couple of E36 BMW's and still have a 328 which is pretty much garaged most of the time. Have spend a lot of money and time on this car with a very long list of mods which I wont list here but.. here is a pic
In the last couple of years I bought a Cooper S Works which I sold after a few months for an E46 330
I then went back to Cooper S Works before my Z
Unfortunately I don't have any more pics of the Z at this point but it is a 3.0 manual. I will be posting a few pictures once I get around to it. Lots of useful information around the forum so thanks for all the help so far!
