A 3.4 Boxster S I could understand but the older 986 Boxsters and 996 911s are just too untrustworthy in my opinion, and a 987 Boxster S would not be a step up from an M

Next job is to refurbish the wheels in gloss black. Looks good on the red cars and BMW have done it on the special edition M3 so it doesn't seem so chav :roll:

I think matte or satin black would look better - i.e not as glossy.

I also think it's extremely difficult to find a better bang for your buck car than the Z4M and while the Boxster/Cayman S is a lovely car i dont consider it a sufficient step up from the M. Perhaps swap to a fruitier sounding exhaust to rekindle some of the old magic along with your wheel refurb?

Well, most of the wheels I've seen on forums (inc Roadtrips) seem gloss black. I think gloss black works on a red car but each their own!
