I find it hard to comprehend paying $450k for a chopped Z4. It's very pretty IMHO, but why would any one pay that. when the base car is so humble and it's not going to be a one off. Hope they flog them all. It would be lovely to see one on the road. 8)

Why would anybody in their right mind pay 40 x the cost of a well sorted E86?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There will be many. myself included who much prefer the look of the $450k suited car. I just can't see people who have that sort of money wanting an old Z4 in a smart suite. Perhaps because I don't have that sort of money to spent on a fourth or fifth toy for the stable.

I really like the front, but much prefer the rear of the standard E86 - even with the birdbath. :lol:

And if I had $450K to spend I can think of so many better ways of spending it!

Originals are always better - unless its Singer, or Theon, or David Lee. Plus Z8 coupes don't exist - so technically this is an original.
think the rear looks awesome, but kinda agree - think if someone had that kinda money - you'd probably get Zagato to custom convert the Z8 you already own into a coupe
