Tilted mirror when reversing ?

Hello

For those who may have either owned or driven a E46 Coupe, there is a feature i wish they carried over to the Z4. When selecting reverse in the E46, the passenger side mirror would tilt down showing you the kerb, and more importantly the rear alloy wheel, an absolute genius idea when it comes to parking the pride & joy next to an alloy wheel eating kerb.

This is the one thing i wish my Z had, is it that no Z4 has them, or is it a feature the Z4's with fold in mirrors has ?.........i would have guessed it would have been more usedful on a Z4 than a E46 due to the fact that the visibility is poorer ?...any ideas ?. I have looked in my manual but cant find anything to suggest it has this feature. :P

I thought that would be useful the other day - I just do it manually as I am scared of making that first scratch of the Alloys

Do Z4s with the 'Auto Mirrors' not have it? Thats what it was described as on my M3 and I too miss it alot!

At the threat of starting a riot !......are SLK's a bit girly ?.......

Understood wondermike. Saw an AMG version the other day and it sounded like a nuclear missile, awesome !!!

Ah yes, awesome :sweetheart:

I'm just waiting for the black market in bodyparts to peak before I sell some organs for one.

To my knowledge no Z4's have the mirror tilt down thinger. I sure wish they did, I've driven in a couple cars that had it....that feature is one of the top 5 for sure
