I did not get to drive since I found about it late and was not going to be on the waiting list. They limit the day to 150 drivers. Plus it was a rainy day...
Pictures are not that good since I left my camera in my Zed, so I had to use my Cell phone...
Numerous Mini's, SC2000's, Corvette's, a 280Z and a couple of BMW's, and many others. There was a woman who brought her Boxter for some good thrashing...
No Z4's. The BMW guys really gave the course hell. Very Fastttt...AND Smooth..
Some shots of the coarse. I could not get the whole course in one shot since they have a lot of room to use... The CO of the base is a big Autocross dude....
The cars on the left are in the staging paddock.
A car in Tech. for inspection.
Some on the track. Next time I will have much better pictures... I was too busy watching, critiquing and enjoying my self.
Heres something you don't see everyday. A Noble. Never seen one in the flesh...
I really don't think it is a good Autocross car... It just did not look good going around the coarse.
This two BMW guys here, were very good. . The farther one, in the newer 335i had a spinout. He was really pushing it.
The spot where he spun has a very long sweeping turn (very fast) but at the end of it is a short 90' cut. He just did not slow enough...
This one was real cool. A modified MX-5 Miata.
I loved watching this guy go...
I wont get to drive the events in May and June, because I get to spend that time in Connecticut, so I am shooing for the July event.
