Has anyone else done the throttle reset? Good god it makes a huge difference. It made the throttle infinitely more compliant and easier to ride around town, less bunnyhopping etc, but the pops and burbles that had developed have dissapeared too..

Thought they'd come back as the throttle adapts, but I think they came easier by the car applying more throttle in line with how the old owner used to drive if my understanding is correct.. so thought I'd remedy that:

I've been putting off modding he Z for a few years now, still am holding off supercharging, but a few little bonuses :D

Can't wait to give them a blast :driving:

Whats throttle position sensor reset-is that where you ignition on/off etc or do you physically adjust the sensors?

Just the ignition on/off. Wierdly - I'd taken out the battery a few times to do some work which didn't seem to do the trick although the engine was less blippy and burbly after.. but after I did the reset it's so smooth around town and less edgy. Just done the CDV delete which also has made the 1st/2nd shift much better.

RPI arrived yesterday and was on within an hour or so, can't get over a) the weight b) the sound! VERY loud in my garage..

I'm chuffed for $700 delivered! First impressions were '**** it's a bit loud' and if it came on song under full throttle rather than with the smallest input it'd be nice but sports mode off and easy on the pedal and it's not so bad.

The droning seems a non-event if you're cruising rather than gradually accelerating everywhere, a few had said it would be an issue but I don't see it too much. With the AFE it sounds great getting up the range.

let the next round of shopping begin...

You can still hear the AFE roar from the front end at full chat and I think it levels it out nicely rather than having an almost artificial purely rear grumble like if you stuck a cannon on a fiesta..
