Hi all,
sorry for the stupid subject for the post but I had reallyy no idea how to make an understandable title.
I was talking of three questions... :)

1. speaker grill (see pic)
Is it possible to split the speaker grill from the sorrounding ring, and then to re-assemble it?

2. aircon surroundings (see pic)
Do you have any guess if it's difficult to cjange them? Shall I take out only the radio and the aircon control box?

3. windows switch (see pic)
Do you know if BMW will sell separately the switch itself and/or the surrounding plastic?

If you see any of the items above on ebay or do you have to sell them, please let me know!!!!

I have seen some button trim rings, but nothing relating to your pieces...
I think you'd be looking at a custom work project.

:D
If I can find some cheap spares, I'd like to try the dip-printing of:
- speaker surroundings
- plastic trim aound the windows switch
- aircon trims

To make it easy (in red):

Well I'm not a huge fan of the wood finish, but it is very well done, and I think the areas you have selected will compliment it. I think it was commented on in the other thread, but the finish does look very original, as if it had been offered as a factory option.

Thanks again :)
The great thing of this technique is that you can "replicate" the same finishing (with the same quality) in all the parts you like.
Since I'll never ever dismantle the car once again (by bones are hurting even now - it's an italian saying, I do not know if it make sense in english) I wanted to try to go forward with a few bits more.

Yep it makes sense in English :D

Also, why not do the steering wheel spokes in the same effect, that would look well matched I reckon.

I was thinking to the spokes, but since I have the chrome line interiors, I prefer to keep:
steering wheel spokes
shift lever
door handles (?)
seatbelt covers over the seats

I tried to figure out the result (at least for the two small trims that could be easily done)
