Thoughts: DIY remote muffler bypass

Saw something like this randomly on YouTube. Had a search and saw this post on bimmerpost.

What do you guys think? Lame or cool?

I would imagine it would essentially be straight piping - but feeding exhaust gas under the back of the car is probably not great long term.

Not sure how it would work on the standard Z set up with dual pipes running to the box.

Had this done on the Porsche. It’s called a gundo hack on them. The sound is awesome. Plenty of crackle on over run without the drone. I remember this been don on a zed a few years back.
