I'm trying to put an amazon fire tv in the zed so I can have a visual music library.
The amazon fire is plugged into a hdmi to composite converter then into the AV input on a factory digital tuner.
Only problem is the audio quality is terrible!
Does anyone else have anything plugged into the AV input, is your audio quality bad? (It might just be the cheap eBay hdmi to composite converter)
Secondly, when reverse is selected and the backup camera displays does the cd player mute or lower the system audio?
I was thinking I could use the aux input for good audio quality and install a switch in the lower dash cover to manually switch the video feed to the Amazon Fire through the reverse camera input.
