Third brake light lens missing

Just been out to the car and the lens has disappeared off the third brake light....bugger :thumbsdown:
I fitted a clear one when I bought the car about 3 years ago so it hasn't lasted long. I read since I fitted it that it can be over tightened so ill be more careful incase that's what caused this failure
 
Just missed the parts guy at Sopers so have ordered one from Rybrook Bmw Shrewsbury £59 inc vat for clear to collect Monday pm
 
Make sure you get the lighter springs with new unit and easy does it when refitting. cheers Baz :)
