I don't know but my uncle bought an Aston in Canada with the intention of driving it for 2 years then selling it for pretty much what he paid or for a few quid less. Second hand obviously.
He's kept it now for 6 years and I'm sure it's went up in value. He bought at the right time though. His is only a V8 as well. So was at the cheaper end of the Aston club but their market over their has been booming during the pandemic.
Sometimes if you time it right you can get one, use it and walk away costing you nothing or making money.
Personally I don't think that's likley to happen now but you never know if he gets one for a good price he could sell in a year or two for what he paid.
