Thinking of selling up - what price ??

After 15 months of fabulous motoring, I have been tempted by an SLK AMG. Not totally convinced yet, and the final decision will depend on what mine is worth.

So thoughts please ....

Spec is Z4 2.5si Sport Roadster. Will have a full MOT, FSH (not all BMW), 55k miles. Silver grey with Oyster Grey Oregon leather. All usual sport bits, M Sport steering wheel (multi function buttons), M sport seats, 18" MV2 alloys (almost new GY F1s to front, good tread on Pirellis to rear). Factory options; Bluetooth, cup holders, cruise, 'GIMP' wind deflector, heated seats, rear parking sensors + aftermarket xenons. Recent new lollipop bushes, aux in, E90 M Sport perforated leather gearknob, full alignment and Gaptech +.

Cheers ...

Maybe advertise for £7600? Mileage is below average for the age and it's quite well spec'd for a 2.5si.

OK - not too bad, although I was hoping for a little more. Anyone else have a view ?

Cheers ...

Put your details into the 2 or 3 car buying sites then add 10/15% possibly even 20% to their valuations & that should give a fair indication of a private sale value

I followed an SLK 55 today and my god that thing sounds nice. Thought it was thundering again

It's worth as much as someone will pay for it. If you have a minimum figure to move to the Merc then advertise at that and see what interest you get. That all that matters really, if you just want someone on here to say it's worth £8k then it doesn't really matter unless someone will pay it.

Cheers All.

WBAC valued at £5,900 !! So a 10% premium would suggest selling for £6.490 and a 20% premium for £7,080. TBH I wouldn't let it go got even the max figure. Looked at loads before buying this and the spec condition mileag etc suggest a premium should be obtainable.

Around £7,800 is where I need to be to make the SLK viable, so may try the market at £8,200.

Thanks again.

Stick it up at £7850 & make sure the advert is well written , pics are good & be open to negotiations . You may get what you want :? .
Jmo but don't list with "Won't find a better example" or "£7750 NO OFFERS " as you will be wasting your time & money
Best of luck
