Had our Fiesta since new in 2004 - no problems at all - now coming up 60k - other than tyres/servicing it's only needed a recent disc/pad change . Been thinking about a change - not keen on spending more than £8.5k as it's only a DD - the Fiesta only cost £7.5k new and still looks virtually mint and even though a petrol model still returns 40mpg average.
considering a Dacia Sandero Stepway - basic petrol model , decent spec for a base model - urban 40+mpg - £8295 otr - good reviews for build quality ( Dacia is essentially a Renault )
Alternatively quite like a 2008/09 Mondeo diesel - one with a decent mileage around £8k- both cars bigger and a lot more comfortable for a big bugger like me than the Fiesta.
always liked Ford - sound well built cars - but the draw of a new car with a standard 3 year warranty with the Dacia is tempting.
Opinions ?
