thinking of 35i ?

Having recently sold my fab E85 recently to a forum member to help fund a house move, i'm considering coming back to the forum with an E89 35i ?

What are your thoughts on this model ?, should i be looking at something else ?

Budget will be around 15-19k

I was considering an SL350 with AMG spec till the girlfriend slapped me and said what the heck go for more fun !!!

your views and help please ?

is there much difference between 30i and 35i ?

I have a 35i And it's an incredible car...make sure you stick the car in sport + and the DCT into sport mode as part of the test drive...once you do that it won't take you long to sign on the dotted line!

The upper end of your budget should get you a decently spec'd 35i but as said above the time of the year means there will be only a handful of cars about...good luck

I am awaiting my new manual car 35imsport liked the idea of the DCT auto but went with the manual because my new son-in-laws 12plate 5 series auto shut all its electrics down in the fast lane of the M4 and left him with no drive
he just managed to get it to the hard shoulder my sales person tells me they have had a couple do this near airports
this is not good :thumbsdown: and put me of the auto to say the least also like the idea of the manual with its big noisy engine like a sports car should be. horses for courses really dont care about nav as long as it goes and has heated seats

The adaptive suspension is an absolute joy if you use it for every day car.
The engine with the two small turbos on is just great for the weight,coupled with the dct auto box in sport modes makes for a good degree of fun with comfort.
