Quick quiz - what's this from?

Steph and I called into Hexham Horseless Carriages today - great variety of sports cars in there and one of my favourites had it's bonnet up needing a re-charge. What a difference a few decades make. . .

That was quick ZermattV - Yes - the 4 litre version in British racing green. Looked wonderful - a real classic. We had a 4 litre Chimeara for a short time and it sounded lovely and certainly had performance despite only producing something like 250 bhp. Couldn't live with it as we were both working at the time and it was no commuter and not too practical - but fun!

There are some lovely sports cars in HHC at the minute and a series 2 Land Rover which is a re-build with a 2.25 engine which looks immaculate and I can't understand why that has not gone yet - definitely close to being collectable. They are a friendly bunch and we often call in to see what they have on offer we test drove an S2000 they had in before settling on our original Zed.

Love the RV8  it sounds wonderful & doesn't cost the earth to maintain...unlike the very fragile AJP8 I had in my Cerbera...I really wish I hadn't wasted my money on an engine TVR made & I had gone with an engine that was proven. :driving:
