There you have it; as shown yesterday Wills and Kate choose open top carriage to enjoy the moment, Queen and Prince Phillip the covered carriage just in case it rains (don't blame them considering the event) but i'm sure they would have chosen a convertible too, then the happy couple zip off in a 'Convertible' Aston (didn't see it unfortunately) :wink: :thumbsup:

Didn't see much of the event but am a bit of a royalist and glad it went well, good for UK profile (and for convertibles)

I read somewhere that around 7000 journalists from around the world attended the event so as you say, excellent for the UK's profile. And Charles' DB6 Volante looked superb and was perfect for the ocasion.
 
They probably had a choice of 50 cars, some for rain and some for sun. Clearly if the weather is good, convertible is the way forward
