The rented BMW of the last couple of days

Where were you to rent that? I always get tempted to rent a bike on my travels, would give me a good chance to explore :D

Las Vegas :)

I rode from the strip down to Hoover Dam, around Lake Mead and up to Valley of Fire, then reversed and back the same way as I didn't want to ride on the Interstate.

Then up to Redrock Canyon around the scenic loop for a morning before returning it and flying home.

It's the first time I've rented a bike, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The bikes came from Eagle Rider and they're in several locations.

One can do that here in Germany as well.

I hope you had updated your will before the ride to leave the M to Bing :D

Does sound like a great trip

I didn't update my will, but I did take out a much improved travel insurance package. My day to day travel insurance only covers bikes up to 125cc and they won't do it as an optional extra.

We're off to Vegas in September/ October and i'm thinking of hiring a car and driving to Hoover Dam etc

Well if i ever find myself in Vegas i may have a look into something like this! When i was in florida i was contemplating a bike, but most of what i could see were Harley's and I'm not that keen on them as I'm a dual sport/supermoto/enduro fan :)
