very cute... what is s/he? I'm thinking of getting a best friend but worried about dog hairs everywhere... my sister-in-law's dog passed away just recently, she was a geriatric in doggie terms and had a real personality but always loyal.

E86M.au, that is Scooter and my best friend who is a 2 year old male Golden Retriever. Yes there is a lot of dog hair but it tends to clump together. A sticky roller and a vacuum cleaner keeps the dog hair under control.

Thanks - nice to hear from someone who has probably forgotten more about this sort of stuff that I will ever learn. 5 minutes earlier the horses were over the barn doors but no doubt were no amused by a sports car, so that would have been nice.
