Dear Comrades,

This is dedicated to the E89 Z4 therefore the thread has been issued in the correctly designated position.

We are advised that Lithium, the lightest of all metals is to replace the motive force of petroleum motor cars by Twenty Thousand and Thirty.

What, pray, are your thoughts on this matter?

With kind regards,

MAD

One must progress, otherwise part of us may become stuck in Medieval times, or even the early 20 hundreds.

With all the space under the bonnet, there could be room for electric conversion.
Be interesting to see someone do as a project.
As my daily drive i could easily live with 100 mile range.
But, i have no easy access to charge the vehicle.

Friend has a Tesla, to be honest as a passenger you don't even notice it's electric...till he puts his foot down.

Perhaps an auto box would be easier conversion.

art though not a little presumptuous as thy thought that motorised vehicles using propulsion of only liquid gold only was outlawed from two thousand and thirty, multi power modes vehicles will still be available to procure

there is a chap on zroadster forum who has converted a z3 to ev power

Amazing read

For my four cents I think ev is not the answer as it’s just moving the problem

Hydrogen answers most issues with current energy provision but at present does seem unviable at present but will change

Plus- if the last two years have taught anything, it’s that humanity probably has bigger fish to fry

I doubt that covid will be the last major challenge we have to face into
