Afraid I haven't seen it, but I'd recommend loading up on fudge, chocolate coated raisins and those haribo-style sour sweets :thumbsup:
 
My lass says it was good. Weve seen the originals and they are good. But she reckons even this American remake is worth watching. :thumbsup:

Seen it - very surprised at how well it was made and the entertainment factor. One quite real uncomfortable scene but a great story all the same enjoy :thumbsup:

I saw this the other week, what a boring pile of dross.

It was vaguely interesting at parts (bet I can guess which scene you thought was uncomfortable bluestreak!) and had some suspense here and there but needed about an hour cutting out...
 
I agree about the nasty scene. A bit OTT...

Other than that, I thought it was quite good

Haven't seen the Hollywood version, but was disappointed in the first film, if I hadnt read the books, it might well have been different.

however what really gets me is the title, it infers that the story is about Lisbeth, which it isn't. The original title of the book translates to "Men who hate Women" and that is what the book is about
 
Haven't read the books just seen the originals. Thought they were good. First one the best, but agree with you completely SARS, a book is almost always better than the film

I usually make a decision to either read the book or watch the film. Watching film after enjoying the book is always a recipe for disappointment (sometimes only slightly, but disappointment non the less)

Good point about the title sars. I didn't know what the original title was, but it makes far more sense, as the film isn't really about Lisbeth...
