The Elusive Olivine Green

Hi all,

I put this up on the general forum already, but here it is again for all of you who haven't seen an olivine green Z4 in the flesh.

I suppose it's not quite as rare as the original urban green though

I'd love to see some more shots in differing light to get a more complete view of this critter. Looks kind of interesting from what this shot portrays.

Thanks for the kind words folks! These pics are a bit old, but I will try to take a new set soon in good light (and after I've cleaned it a bit) to demonstrate the color better.

When I bought it, I special ordered it, mostly because I don't like to buy cars right off the lot. The dealer told me they had never seen the Z in this color before, and honestly I have never seen another in person.

I usually buy colors based on their ability to hide dirt, and the silver colors were my original choice, but this just looked interesting in the brochure, so I took a chance. For me, having previously owned two orange cars (an '00 Miata, and an '84 Bronco II) , olivine green was not as dramatic for me as it may be for others.

Almost didn't see it against the foliage.
