The Dreaded Roof Creak

Brought some Krytox and applied at the weekend along with putting some more fabric strips in different places.....the last 3 days has been bliss almost no noise at all now!!!

Just resurrecting this thread. I have a creak but it sounds like it is to the front right of me by the A pillar. I also sometime get a clicking noise like a nut is loose or something.

Anyone had this before and maybe know the fix?

Could be the A pillar > dash join. Give it a gentle push right at the bottom to check.

I find Autoglym vinyl and rubber care also works in a similar fashion

I occasionally get a tick creak from the front when going very slowly over uneven ground and I've narrowed it down to the bonnet where the scuttle is or wiper arms. I've noticed when washing the Zed and drying and putting pressure on the bonnet in front of the screen it makes a tick creaking sound. It could be this that your hearing. Happily I don't get any noises from the roof at all

That could be what it is! I Dont think it is the roof but like I said something in the corner of the windscreen/a-pillar. I can hear it going over bumps, accelerating, braking and even turning at times. Thing is when I got the car I dont recall hearing these noises but then the weather has got colder and not sure if that has an effect on it
