2003-2004 Orange indicators
2005 model year - white indicators
2006+ model year - white indicators with new LCM (light control module) & circuit design

A model year 2005 headlamp with white indicators is a direct swap for 2003-2004 Zed's.

Does this only apply to Xenon? I have just bought a 2007 halogen to go in my 04 prefacelift. Will the new LCM be a problem?

It would appear Halogens of any age are a straight swap, certainly mine unless I got incredibly lucky and picked a pair of pair 05 units which I very much doubt.
So to answer your question yes the above info would appear only to correspond with Xenon units.
