The Dales

Long - probably boring - video of the Yorks Dales at our end. Meant to post this a couple of weeks ago but forgot (unless I did post it and forgot I had - it's an age thing, we get confused so bear with me) Someone thinking of visiting the area asked me what it was like driving in the Dales, so as I was heading over there anyway for a drive I stuck the video camera in the windscreen. Pity it was dull day really, still a good drive though, I love it over there.

Great footage-that tractor moment looked close!

Do you mean the tanker coming thro' the narrow bend towards me @ 2.17? Yes, it was a bit close that :D I was shuffling on a bit and so was he - but there was no way he was slowing down. Testament to the Zed's brakes though, it just pulled up rather quicky with no drama whatsoever.

We'll meet up over there one day, Andy and grab a brew at Waddington or Dunsop Bridge?

Crums has any thing actually changed up there in the last 35 years. That looked just like it did when I used to cycle it as a teenager. :D

Truly God's own country.

I had read the comments before I watched the film and I still clenched my bum with the tanker coming the other way! :o

Glad to see what was a museum piece getting some action (the car that is, not the owner!)
