Ok no excuses. This bugger is pushed WAAAY OUT, so I expect you guys to be able to make arrangements to attend. We could leave around lunch time, take some rolling shots on the way. Get there a little early and hangout at the beach or where ever. Then we can head over to the Crab Shack for dinner and head back home.

I should be able to, however I will have to meet the ATL / Macon contingent somewhere near Statesboro off of I16 since I will be coming from Augusta. Regardless if there is a meet or not, I will more than likely be in Savannah on Saturday through Sunday.

So, what is the story with this GTG?

Long long ago, in a galaxy far far away...



The last BBQ GTG for the Ga chapter was considered "rushed" and we ended up getting a low attendance because of that. So this time around I threw out a date and created an event well in advance in the hopes of getting a higher turn out.

The event is also open-ended. So we can have something going on before the trip to the resturant. Maybe a stop off at the beach? Or afterwards we can spend the night an go to a bar.

The meeting location for the caravan had not been determined because that will be based on who's attending. Usually if we have people to "pick-up" along the way. Then we're announce a route for the caravan to follow with ETA's for the pick-up locations. So for most of the trip all participants are included in the caravan and the fun of down there.

My wife and I are planning on leaving mid-morning. Then haning out in Saavannah for a little while an then onto Tybee for dinner. Those that are attending please PM me an I'll pass my phone number along so we can figure out how we're gonna meet up.

BUMP FOR 2008! Anything pre Homecoming going on? The Dragon on Memorial Day is pushing my limits at 8 hours to get there.

There was no interest for this GTG last year. Someone else might want to take this one over to see if they'll have better success than I did.

Maybe we can find somewhere half way between Atlanta and Northeast Florida thats not to far for everyone.
