In 10 months time, the Scots will get the vote as to whether they wish to remain in the United Kingdom. A vote for independence will see the break up of a 300 year old union.
An Englishman, I have lived in Scotland for most of my adult life and love it here. Despite its size, it really does feel like a big country.
I confess to being a bit out of touch with sentiment regarding this issue south of the border, not that those of you south will have any influence as you will be denied the chance to vote - an interesting position which deserves it's own discussion I would have thought.
Nonetheless I am interested in what the majority of the UK think about such an important issue which will have far reaching consequences for all in this island of ours. Do you want Scotland in the UK or not, and are you bothered?
Mods, would it be possible to set up a poll? Yes for Scottish independence and no to remain in the UK and a not bothered option?
