Does she need instructions?

- warm heat proof glass with boiling water
- dry glass
- two heaped spoonfuls of decent instant coffee
- one generously heaped spoonful of soft brown sugar
- fill glass to about one-third full with Jameson
- stir to dissolve sugar and coffee in the Jameson
- fill to within three-quarters of an inch of the top with boiling water
- stir to ensure all coffee & sugar is dissolved
- float cream on top
- drink quickly before it gets cold

So what your telling me is the best thing about Christmas is not being made to hit the Harvey Nichols sale while he tries on the same jacket several times and eventually goes with the one you picked originally and then you have to cart his purchases home as he doesn't like the over the shoulder bag they come in??

I however treated myself to yet more coffee and I'm getting stuck into making Irish coffees with a glass of single malt on the side before I make dinner
