Hey Guys,
I'm contemplating what to do with that interior

suggestions please....
this is what i'm thinking though; replace the cream center console + the heated seat module and lock box between the seats to black OR wrap the console and lock box in carbon fiber look stuff (or another wrap..suggestions??)

swap the cream door cards for black ones but put the cream leather on the black doors

what do you guys think...

The door cards are all one-piece, the leather doesn't come off readily. Although it has been done http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=47403#p47403

wow! a lot of work... :headbang:
like the idea of sound deadening though.

I would get the seat repaired and recoloured and leave it OEM..

I know its not everyones taste but its nice not to see doom black!

Yeah it is a lot of work.

Not sure how effective the wrapping is in the long-term, you could do with finding a complete black interior and swapping everything apart from the seats.

:D

PS the sound deadening was much improved for facelift/coupe models, just the early roadsters that had a bit of a tinny feel to the doors.

Maybe consider retrimming the current leather parts ?
In all honesty at the ££ you paid just enjoy it as it is , there are far worse interiors & i think it gets away with it on the dark paint ?
I thought i was in a exclusive club buying a coupe sub £9k but you have the mantle now for sure

i like it as it is tbh. the one thing i don't like about my interior is that it's a sea of black.

I just like more of a contrast... I think I may just swap the center console and the lock box between the seats to black.
and I'll repair the seats and dye them a nicer shade of cream...like theese :

I'd keep the leather as is, maybe repair if possible, but look to find a piano black trim.

I was also thinking about doing this, but this has black door cards...which I'd really like also.

unsure if to buy or spray the aluminium trim and make a piano black finish that way

I'd wrap the Aluminium or replace it and refurb the seat. The colour is lovely but the Aluminium does it no favours at all.

First thing I'm going to do is remove the seats, handbrake leather part and the gear gaitor and clean them and the carpets properly...
