Texaco Supreme 97 fuel

My local Shell garage is in the process of becoming a Texaco garage, therefore my local supply of V Power has dried up, has anyone tried the Texaco Supreme Fuel and will it be suitable for the ///M?

Thanks in advance

Thats a shame
IIRC in the 90s before Shell et al got on the band wagon, Texaco was the fuel of choice
similar attributes to V Power cleaner higher octane etc etc
Not heard much if anything these days but then Shell must spend a fortune on marketing

Bit worried, 108 views and no one has used Texaco Supreme, therein lies a tale!! :D
More likely those who refuse to put Supermarket fuel in use Shell as first preference ,unless Texaco have regressed I can't see
a problem .........has to be better than SM fuel
......now duck that will start the flack  :fuelfire:

Usually fill up at waitrose (apparently its bp ultimate 98) or shell 99 (which is more expensive) and cant tell the difference. I have put total excellium in once or twice, which is 97 and it does seem a bit flatter at the top end, but nothing like as bad as 95.

Can't rate their fuels, other than to say I've used the standard petrol in other cars and it's been fine.
They have a station just around the corner from my parents but I usually avoid them because they're typically 2-3p more than the Shell station I use in the area.
