Testing the water.... Possibly For Sale: Monaco Blue Z4M-R

Well... the sensible side of me has reared it's head again and after purchasing a 2010 118d M-Sport back in November for the work commute, my Z4M-R has barely seen any use (I've managed a measly 3000 miles or thereabouts since I bought it back in August last year).

So, I'm contemplating putting the car up for sale. I'll be removing a couple of bits in the coming week and putting them up for sale anyway.

I will add some pictures whenever it stops raining and I can switch the wheels over and get some new photos taken.

But in the meantime I thought I would see if there is any interest on here...

Spec:
2006/06 Z4M-R (Manufacture date 20.06.2006)
Monaco Blue - I believe 1 of only 7 M Roadsters in this colour in the UK
51k approx (I will check exact mileage later)
Full BMW service history
MOT'd at ELM's BMW in Bishop Stortford on 04.04.2012 with 50727 miles, valid until 10.04.2013 (Passed with no advisories)
Taxed until end Sept 2012.
Car was purchased on 20.08.2011, from another member on here who was p/x-ing it and offered it here for the same price as it was due an Inspection 2. (He purchased it as an AUC in April 2010).
I have continued the BMW Warranty, so it the car has full comprehensive warranty (I am paying monthly so it can be easily transferred to new owner).

Full black leather heated/electric seats, with carbon leather dash.
Extended Storage
Professional Navigation (With modified software and 2011 nav disc with 7 digit postcode search and speed camera alerts)
MFSW
Bluetooth prep (with upgraded tray and iPhone 3GS cradle)
3 keys present (2 full keys plus plastic valet key)
Engine bay strut brace
Plus all usual M-spec goodies.
Black front grills.
Also has GAPTech one-touch and remote module fitted.

Car tells me next service based on current driving is not until July 2013.

I'm not in a desperate hurry to sell, but with lack of use and it being the right time of year to sell, I thought I'd see if there was any interest.

Asking price is £14,750 ono.

In addition, as mentioned above, I will have the following for sale in the next week.

Genuine staggered CSL rims, with Vredestein tyres. Fronts are good, but rears will need changing in the next few hundred miles (I was planning a colour change and new tyres in the summer) Will get exact depths when I swap them over. Have a couple of minor kerb grazes, so would need a refurb to make them perfect, but they are in no way in bad condition. Asking price for these is £1100 ono. I would prefer collection only on these so the buyer see's exactly what they are getting and also so I don't have to package them up!!

Black roof covers / fill in pieces for when the roof is down, complete with storage bag for the boot. In as-new condition as rarely used. Asking price £75 posted.

I will put some proper adverts up for these parts when I've had a chance to take some pictures.

I would prefer initial contact either by PM or e-mail ([email protected]) and I will pass my number on to any serious enquiries.

Cheers,
Stuart :driving:

skillick, think long and hard...

Have to say I have seen this car in the metal and it is mint.

Good luck, if you do sell

You don't fancy upgrading then?

In all seriousness, I really don't want to sell, but with the lack of use and the growing desire to buy a house here in the UK, it's a fair chunk to have sat on the driveway looking pretty!! If I don't get close to asking price though I'll keep hold of it for the summer (and get some sunshine use out of her... if it ever stops raining), then store for the winter and back up for sale next spring.

Quite apart from the fact I'd have nowhere to live but the car if I did that right now, if I ever get an ///M I am pretty certain I want it to be Imola Red. All that said, for a good 5 mins there I was seriously tempted :D

What - do you mean that between the 2 of us, we own 40% of the best coloured M Roadsters in the country?! I wonder who has the other 3?
