hey everyone :)

a friend of mine ordered a set of 19" iForged rims for his E46 330Ci but sold his car before they got here.. he even had some doubt that they wouldn't fit properly.

specs are:

iForged Swift Anthracite finish with polished lip:

19x10" ET?? Rear
19x8" ET?? Front

only thing is that iForged don't show the offset on the rims, nor on the boxes  so i test-fitted the 19x10 rear rim (without tire) and couldn't really tell if it would fit properly, or if it would work with spacers etc..

i'm not too worried about the fronts, and would try them on later..

if things go right, i'm planning to install:
275/30R19 & 245/35R19

I have a few questions & would need your help:

1) how to know if they are 2pc or 3pc? can you tell from the pics below?
2) do you think the style looks good on the Z4MC?
3) do you think the anthracite looks good on imola red?
4) can you tell from the pics if they would fit without issues with spacers? looks like it's gonna rub on the inside, but with spacers wouldn't it stick out?
5) do you think the tire sizes are ok? what sizes do you recommend?

help a bro out, keep in mind i'm located in dubai & can't just order a set over the net since shipping & customs charges here are too high :tsk:

i might get a good deal on those & they're still in the box

thanks :)

Those would look amazing!!!! :D
10" rears have been done so if you're tight inside, it should just be a matter of sizing the spacer.

I know iForged & a few others don't state ET... but you can measure it yourself.
Just place a bar across the rim, measure to the hub & subtract half of the rim width (ET is from centerline)

Tire sizes are fine.. that's what I'm running.

If you were to purchase 19" X 10" rear rims from Tirerack for a MZ4 Coupe they would supply a rim with an offset of 20mm. The front rims 19" X 8" would be supplied with a 40mm offset. Hope this helps...

Dayum that looks aggressive!

Looks like you might need spacers, but then that'll push the wheels out even more.

Oh, by the way the valvestem placement is, you might not be able to fit direct-TPMS sensors on them. Have you checked into that yet?

thanks bro for your input..
from today's test & and the fact that those rims were made for a non-M E46, the offset is a little higher, so I'll try with 5mm & 7mm with a 275/30 rear tire & see what happens :) should be done on saturday..

that's right, i think with the right spacers in the rear i can reach an ET 20-25mm.. i shouldn't have a problem with the fronts if they were anything higher than ET35 :)

i also think theyll look great & would be unique after a dozen Z4M's with CSL's :) and a couple with M6 reps :P
as for the valve stem, i have no idea if i 'd be able to fit the TPM sensor :? what do you guys think?

My 19" BBS RGR's are 19x8.5 ET32 and 19x10 ET25. If you're gonna lower your Z4M, for the rear I wouldn't go more aggressive than ET22. There's still a little bit of room at the rear on my M but I think anything more aggressive than ET22 you'd be pushing it too close. For the front, I wouldn't wanna go more aggressive than ET27.

And those rims look AMAZING!! :D Totally put my RGR's to shame. Are you able to weigh them? If they're close to 20~21lbs like the RGR's, I'M MAKING A SWITCH!!!

REAR: i'm gonna try with 5mm spacers, which should be enough to clear from the inside, and still not be too aggressive.
FRONT: i think they should be fine but will see if i need spacers, either way i'm not thinking of going lower than ET35

rims looks really good on imola red or ti-silver but iForged are more of "show" wheels
i read somewhere that they weight around 21-22 (fronts) and 25-26 (rears).. nowhere close to BBS territory!

UPDATE:
thanks for the heads-up bro..
i'm gonna need adapters to fit the TPMS sensors

UPDATE:

tried the rear rim with a 275/30ZR19 Michelin PS2 and a 3mm spacer..
went for a drive :driving: and did some slaloms & strong turns, no rubbing :)

looks like i can go for 5mm spacers on the rears to ensure that nothing rubs on the inside.. do you think that if it sticks out 2mm more than the pics below it'll be fine?

Looks like you have lots of room to move out more.

Since the suspension tucks as its compressed
You can easily go to the fenderline w/o rubbing.

thebighash, not usually a fan of split rim wheels, but they'll look awesome once you're finished 8)
yeah it's all about taste, but i can tell you those rims look much better in person 8)
