Tell me why this hasn,t sold Z fan,s

I enquired about this car some 5/6 weeks ago at £4750 & my offer of £4150 was declined / I went on to buy a Z3 which sold within 10 days & then bought E46 Convertible which is For Sale now
If that sell,s i may well go back for another bite at the above Z but am i missing something blindingly obvious as to why it,s still for sale ?

Indeed not, just pointing out that some adverts are written in such a way to make people think its had one less owner. To be fair this applies more to dealers who use "1 previous owner" when it would be clear to state "2 owners".

For some reason I have an inbuilt aversion to eBay ads written IN LARGE FONT FORMAT.

Smacks a little of dealer trying to look private and getting it all wrong. Or it feels dodgy like those ads you see with a photos saying don't email but phone this PAYG number.

Car looks okay from the okay photos, but until you see it I guess you wont know exactly what the story is.

Me too. They always seem to be compensating for a lack of relevant information as well. Really is a shocking ad, but the car looks ok.

A"sly" stroke from the dealer me thinks / the 530i is now pictured where the £4k Z was & it would appear the Z has now sold with the seller attempting to switch the listing details thus duping ebay of a 2nd set of fees , nice touch

Looks like the seller is just 'revising' the content every time he sells something, so that it shows details of a new car.

I suppose it would be one way to get around ebay noticing that you've had lots of cars up for sale over the course of the year, and just assuming you've not sold anything :roll:
