Hi Guys,
Think I might have the dreaded N52 Tappet rattle syndrome on my 2010, 6K miles 23is.
Car is fine when started from cold & runs fine whilst driven normally, but if i come home & park up for a few hours & then go back to the car, on start up I definitely have tappet rattle from cylinder head area which eventually goes away after maybe a minute or two.
Does this sound like the ongoing issue with the N52 tappets ?.
I understand that this was supposed to have been designed out after approx 2008-2009 ?
Looks like a dealer visit coming up for me
