Sync IPhone 4

Not Zed related, but dos anyone know if there is a way of segregating contacts on an iphone4 so that only a selection get pushed out to pairing cars. I have around 900 contacts on my phone and would prefere to sync only 20 to 30 to the car and not have hundreds of others burying me.

On my old Blackberries I used to set up a sub groups and pair just those.
Any ideas?

Do you sync your contacts with a PC or Mac? I use a Mac and there is an option to create a separate group for specific contacts. Under your bluetooth settings for the device you pair your iPhone with there is a setting for which group of contacts are paired with your device.

I'm sure there will be a similar way to create a subgroup on a PC.

Jimmypop - I sync with a pc.

I can see 'groups' in my various Bluetooth pairings on the iPhone but greyed out.
Not sure how to activate that

Sadly I can't test it now as just boarding a plane for Aus.

Any more ideas?.
