Swissvax Quick Finish

Ordered some Swissvax Quick Finish recently to use after washing. I wanted something to complement the Swissvax Divine that was applied a few weeks ago.

I cleaned the car today and used it for the first time.

Valet Pro Orange Pre Wash
Rinse
Wash 2 bucket method with Megs NXT
Rinse
Dry
Swissvax Quick Finish
Megs tyre shine
Autoglym Wheel Seal
Autosol on the tailpipes.

I was pleased with the results. Looks really good and very easy to use. I've also been using a Megs tyre shine applicator for the last few weeks which is the best £3.99 I've spent in ages. Really useful and makes a messy job much easier.

Few photos of the results :-

Very nice love the last shot  could not handle owning a black car would drive me crazy recently detailed my nieces black Renualt you could watch the dust settle

Looks nice og.
Midnight blue and carbon black are both very dark blue colours which do look extremely dark in certain lights but look stunning when prepared and maintained correctly.

What protection is the z wearing?

Just be aware that any quick detailer products do tend to reduce the life of any protective layers you may have on the car, if your topping up regular it wont cause any conflict but if your only waxing 1-2 times a year the durability will wain slightly quicker than normal.

Pawn,

Not from today because I was larking around with the camera really and just quite liked these.

The photos below are whole car ones taken three weeks ago after it's detail.

Scott - It's got Swissvax Divine protection on at the moment. I'm hoping that should last for 6 months ?

Very posh indeed

Not all qd's conflict but I would maybe consider not using the quick finish all the time as so to not conflict with the wax.
Im assuming you had an SV detailer carry the work out to have that form of lsp on the car?

I yes I remeber you posted the thread to DW a while back after Barry had detailed it.
IIRC he isnt tied to anyone like swissvax?
Did a nice job.

Might not be officially. But he's got just about all of their stuff. Used their leather products, Pneu, Divine, their tyre shine etc.

Seems to really good quality stuff. But pricey....

I was wondering about their Blau Weiss wax - supposedly formulated especially for BMW paint ? Come across it ?

If its been developed for bavarian metal then should do the job.

Ive heard good reports from a fellow dodo detailer that shield is an excellent wax, ive had my eyes on mirage ( saphir ) for a while but opted for the onynx as a budget wax and best of show as something more swanky to go along side my dodo/collinite/finish kare waxes.
From my perspective, its good to give a variety without the heavy price tags.
My high end stuff will go as far as BOS and dodo supernatural, both are beyond adequate and look stunning, durability is excellent and neither will break the bank as wax upgrades.

The same price bracket for blauweiss is mirage, shield, dodo supernatural.
All are sufficent enough and have around the same levels of carnauba content.

Thanks Scott

Interesting.....

Only Dodo Juice product I've got so far is the Wookie wash mit ! Mind you so many recommendations on here that it must be good stuff.

I only point out what works imo.
I rate dodo juice but not all there stuff so I wouldnt class myself as biased even though im an authorised detailer for them.
If it works I will always tell people otherwise im just a liar, I dont work that way.
I rate so many things not just dodo hence why im getting a couple of swissvax waxes.
I also rate finish kare fk1000p which is less expensive than any SV, zymol etc but it sure will outrun them in durabilty.
i use lots of collinite 476s alsobut its all down to what each client wants and majority want durabilty.
There is very little visual difference in waxes if the correct prep has been done prior to the wax application, more so its beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the placeebo takes control.

If you want to try some of there products then i can point you to what I feel is excellent from them.

P.S............. The wookie is such a funky mitt and sooooo thirsty.
