Swapping standard door sills for M sport sills

They are fixed on by three or four small plastic clips which slide onto the trim and are then pushed into holes in the bodywork. I know this as I caught mine with my shoe as was exiting the vehicle and disloged it. To remove the old one you could simply prise it off taking care not to damage the paintwork, or use a plastic trim tool if you have one. The clips are designed to break first before the actual trim itself. The clips might come out without breaking but its good practise to use new clips, most clips are designed for single use. When you remove the original trim you will see hiw the clips are fitted. Funily enough I have just bought a pack of ten off ebay for £2.99.

Besides I'm a total tart for door sills with lights. :lol: How easy would it be to wire some LEDs into the exterior door handles I wonder?
That interior looks similar to mine... Even with the same bmw sport pedals... Except mine is rhd, manual and different colour interior :lol:
Mac changed his to M ones op... Its easy to do once you source them.
