Swapping seats

I have a 2008 face-lift E85 with standard electric leather seats. I'm considering buying a pair of heated M sports seats off a E85 pre-face lift Zed.
Question is will the M Sports seats be compatible with my Zed? I've heard that there is an occupancy sensor that needs bypassing?

the difference is the occupation sensor in the passenger seat, you will have to fit a by pass module otherwise the airbag light will be on, also need to code car so seatbelt chime stops beeping. done it on mine and plenty on here have done it.

How much are the seats? and where did you find them? would like to do the same in mine.

Just thinking with yours being a facelift model not sure if the wiring will already be in place for the heaters, you'll also need the panel above the ashtray where the heater buttons are

Mmm interesting, but still a lot of money. Are they really that much better then the original non sports seats. As mine is a pre-face lift I guess they would swap right over.

I had heated M Sports seats in my previous 2.0 Zed and really miss them. Loosing the figure hugging M sports design and also the heated seats was a double wammy. But you are right £700 is a lot of money (about the going rate though).

Is a little bit expensive but only by a £100 I'd say. You better snap them up before they slip away mate. :)

If your not going to go for them, I might put an offer in myself.

I haven't decided yet - but don't let that stop you, I knew the risks when I linked to the add (thanks for asking)
