Swapping seats / door trims - colour swap?

Hi, I'm in the market for a Z4MC and looking at few online (and here) the non-black leather colour option is not for me, so a couple of Q's if I can;
- if non-black leather interior is used, which parts get the coloured leather? just seat and door cards?
- assuming it's just the seats and door cards, how easy are these to swap?
- is there a market / desire for seat swaps/exchanges (on here)?
- are the seats all embossed with "M" or similar - are there variants?
- i've seen that leather can be dyed - any experience of how viable / good this is?

Thanks in advance
Tim

Non extended leather cars, which most are only door cards and seats are coloured. If you find an imola interior you should find it easy to swap with another ///M owner with black.

Champagne with extended leather colour codes the centre console as well, so best to avoid if you don't want a non black interior. But as said extended leather is pretty rare.

Thanks - and pretty straightforward to swap I assume?

If it's just seats and door cards, yes, it's a simple swap. If like srhutch mentions it's got extended leather in a different colour, the center console is a bit more work to swap out but still doable.

I'm not so keen on redying leather, it often looks just like it is, repainted but a good quality job can be ok.

tbh. if you found a nice coloured leather car, I would be interested in a swap. Red or champagne would go nicely with my silver grey.
