hi folks

been talking to Wasim about swapping my imola red interior in the coupe over to his black from his MR. it's a straight swap for seat and door cards.

what's people's thoughts? will a black interior in a black car help sell it?

black is more universal and red is an acquired taste I am being told.

black on black is classic but bit like darth vaders bedroom

TIA

For me - no way, the red in the black car is a beautiful combo.

I would have had that again in my Porsche but they give it thr brothel look making everything red.

I agree with pvr 100%. A contrasting interior to exterior is very appealing. Red leather interior is still extremely desirable. I know what I'd prefer, and it wouldn't be the black leather.

I’ve always looked for contrasting interior/exterior colours when buying cars and think red interior works well against a black exterior. All IMHO of course.

I'd stick with the red interior too. I'd only ever consider buying a black car if it had something other than a black interior.

I wanted a red interior in my sterling grey roadster but have settled for black. But would still prefer red.

I've always like black interiors as they are easier to maintain, condition is very important... what's the other interior like compared to yours?
