Just in case this got lost in the Welsh Members thread I thought I'd post it separately.

All are welcome to join us on the weekend for a spirited drive up over the Brecons. We are staying in Swansea marina Saturday evening so you are welcome to join us for a Shandy (probably in the Pump House) and then heading up through the Neath Valley on Sunday Morning after meeting about 10am at the Liberty Stadium Car Park.

How can you turn down this sort of scenery and open roads ?

I had ordered my shocks to be delivered yesterday, Thursday, they didn't arrive :!: UPS said due to an error at their depot. I had waited in all bloody day. I was told they would be with me on urgent delivery today, had the mechanic ready and waiting to fit them and they still didn't turn up till this afternoon, my guy cant do the work now till next Friday :cry:
I wanted to get out with you on this one but my sick Alpina wont go round corners very well now. :headbang: could come in the fiesta diesel 1.4 :driving:

I hope the weather is good for you guys and the route looks perfect. :( i am right peed off.

Calm down Brian theres Weston next Sun hope your car is fixed for that one.
 
Alan, this is just a thought, what if i follow behind and catch up with you all when you pull over? I'm concerned about doing more damage see, like to the springs and things :!:

Are there any ladies going along in the other cars, Mrs zedwheels would be along if i did risk it.

Im sure you wouldn't be that far behind Brian !
No ladies that I know of unless Mrs Miggs is coming but I've not heard from him this week. (That doesn't mean she isn't welcome though)
 
oK well i know your leaving the stadium at 10 am, so if i decide to take a chance i will meet you there. Weather for you is looking good.

Any room for another zed? Bit of a last minute decision but am in Cardiff and can't resist the welsh roads around Brecon.

Thanks Buzy, 7 cars due to meet up tmrw so should be a decent trip weather permitting.
- Kate is also coming (Migs girlfriend), if Mrs Zedwheels was still considering it.
 
Last minute change.
Meet in Morrisons Car Park (by the Liberty) as there's a game on at the Stadium !
 
A few photos of todays run. Shame there was a bike race on most of the roads we were using, but good company (Brian, Phil, Elliot, Alan, Migs, Kate and Mike) and a few clear roads helped :driving:

Just filling my water bottle from the pure Welsh Mountain spring...
Other than that one, great pictures. Thanks to all who came out, especially Goon for leading the way and to Zedwheels for making the effort to come despite his suspension issue. :thumbsup:
