Swansea Air Show Hoon - Canc'd.

I was sat here today admiring the view over Swansea Bay, which reminded me its the Airshow over the Bay on Sat 11th July

Not wanting to step on the toes of the Lesser Spotted Welsh Members, this will officially start in England !

The provisional plan would be a 7:30 meet at Aust, then nip over the Bridge, up to Brecon, have a play up there on the quiet bits and then head down the Neath Valley to Mumbles and get parked up for a spot of beachside lunch at mid-day, prior to the Airshow which is on from 2-4pm, with the possibility of watching from the cars (you can sit in my Roadster Spikey :rofl: )
The Airshow includes, the Red Arrows, Chinook Helicopters, Typhoon, Breitling Wingwalkers, plus many other aircraft.

Myself, Spikey, Phil45110 are up for this, but I would also anticipate, //Mikerw, Danstarr, 2Dogs, Limpmisfit may be too and I'm hoping we may be joined along the way by the more common spotted Zedwheels, Goon and perhaps even Skierandy. However, it would be nice to see the other mythological Welsh Members out too...

You suggested this a while back number5 and it sounded like a good day out. BUT, i'v since booked a week away in Spain now mate!! going on the 7th till the 14th.
Who knows how many welsh members may turn up. :poke: :oops:

....The Lesser Spotted Zedwheels. Has now become an equally rare and near extinct breed it seems. :(
 
I think you may be having a dig at me here?
I've probably organised half a dozen Midlands meets, been to two of mac's Leicester watermill meets, and went on this years English/Welsh meet and I didn't see any pricks/cretins/chavs as you call them, at any!?

If you're going to continually post boring attention seeking repetitive stuff you've got to accept you are going to ruffle a few feathers and get stick for it. If you don't like it don't read it, simple.

Not sure what all the other posts were about as Ive obviously missed it before it was all deleted. Anyway, not to detract from the thread, who else fancies the Airshow ?
 
We didnt manage a meet for this event due to various reasons, but I still managed to get there with the family and its been a good event.

The Vulcan was fantastic, the Typhoon amazing and the Red Arrows never fail to impress.

..And its all happening again tomorrrow, (Sunday) starting about mid-day.
