Suspension

Thinking ahead to when my Z is three years old this December and considering my options. It's an M Sport 2.0 with 19 alloys. Despite it's limitation I'm considering keeping it but I wish it didn't have the M Sport harsh ride. I've driven a non-M Sport model and one with adaptive and they were both much more comfortable.

So I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of removing the M Sport set up for something else?

The alternative looks like costing several thousand pounds to replace the car with a new model with non-M Sport suspension but everything else I'd probably keep the same. (mines only done 9500 miles so is a weekend toy)

Cheers

No idea. Are mine adjustable! Don't think they are, no wires or pipes go to them.

Sorry, i thought Msport had the adjustable dampers.
Have a look here;

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.do?model=LL32&mospid=53585&hg=33

See what the differences are.

I see Msport is just a different part number for the shocker.
Perhaps its just stiffer than standard?

Correct fly - M Sport is just stiffer than standard, adjustable dampers are a further option.

That's what I thought and hence the question about retro fitting the standard or at least softer setup. Demon tweeks are quite close to me and offer several 'lowered' kits. Think I'll pop over sometime and have a chat, don't want lower I want softer
