But your being. 2.5 wouldnt have sport springs unless equipped after :unsure:

I will deffo be going down the lowering route, i want it back to the high i had before plus the car is still lopsided and you can notice in the flesh, so gonna try and get the garage to fit the lowering springs and refund me on the oem springs

What springs would everyone recommend?
 
I popped the car over to the garage that fitted the springs but couldnt get me in till thursday this week, but they said it doesn't look right at all plus me and dad have both lost the back end and we'll just say my dad does drive fast.

So in the mean time i whipped the wheels off and checked the spec from the vin number was fitted with M Sport springs.

On the front, m sport spring part number

and the new springs on the rear, all look fine to me. Do they look right to you's?

So while the wheels were off i took the opportunity to paint the callipers, what does everyone think?

I'm not 100% sure but I think green paint marks are supposed to be on normal springs, while m-sports get blue spots, but you have to verify that or just wait until I will remove my springs.. (in about a month or so..)

Don't like that yellow calipers at all.. :fuelfire: gold would classy but yellow screams too loud :thumbsdown: but it's up to your taste whether you like it or not :thumbsup:
 
My springs had blue spots on them... I still have them in my garage and dbl checked them!

Wrong springs fitted for sure , there was another guy last year who had the same issue ,
they had fitted standard springs when they should have been sport spec springs :?
hope you get sorted & the car should feel a whole lot better when sorted :thumbsup:
 
Exactly @ the same place as green spots on your springs.
It's hard to differ M-sport from non-sport spring in any other way - if I recall they even have almost equal amount of coils

Aquazi - the ones you mention, those with blue spots, are sports or standard?

That green spot - right side of the 2nd coil from below, on the underside of the coil :)

Thought it was that bit, didnt really look like a spot, but at least I know how they cocked up.

See if they come up with same conclusion and see how wrong they get it lol

did you not see the spring they removed?

it has 3 very bright and distinct blue paint marks in a line near where that green mark is on yours.

here's my one that i removed:

It also may be that these are the correct m-sport spring, they just need to settle. Springs usually settle by 5-10mm, eibach claims that their springs can loose up to 15mm ride height.
