Suspension - where do I put my money?

I know this question has been asked 100's of times and I have read quite a few of the previous topics and this keeps sending me in circles. But I am wondering if spending money on suspension will actually address the thing I want to change?

I find the handling / ride to be a little 'crashy' - I know its a sports car and a hard ride is to be expected, but I just don't think the car absorbs the road as well as it should. So would any of the following address this issue or is this just a trait I have to live with?

Cheaper option: Eibach springs - Obviously it will improve the stance and pitch of the car, but will it reduce the 'crashyness' of it? (Is that even a word?)
or do I need to spend more, i.e.
H&R Monotube Coilover / Bilstein B12 or B6?

I just want a good setup to cruise and enjoy, not looking for a track setup etc and would like to avoid spending money on something that won't address my niggle.

Car is currently fully OEM - 18" wheels etc

Any input welcomed and thanks in advance.
 
I had H&R springs first which I can thoroughly recommend if you want to settle the ride down a little, and get an aesthetic drop.

Then went to KW Clubsports, which despite some opinions I have read, can be perfectly suitable for the road, and then perfect for the track. If you're not going to do a lot of track work then I guess the v3 is highly regarded also. Heard mixed things about the H&R coilover suspension.
 
Austin - just spotted you are in Huddersfield, I'm only over in Leeds.
- have ground control kit on the car currently
- I think you'd probably find it a bit too hard given your original post, but I'm more than happy to meet up at a convenient time if you want to have a ride

I found that Eibachs did improve the ride over stock both on the road and track. However, the car would still pitch and roll when pushed really hard and it still didn't like rough Tarmac with a propensity to skittishness and tramlining (not helped by pulling the canber pins and 19" wheels).
I also changed to Clubsports subsequently but with H&R ARBs and a few other mods too. I've no doubt that I could experiment and find settings more suited to the road but a combination of being a bit lazy and having very limited free time around work means that I've invested much more time honing my track settings. As such, I now have a car that is brilliant on smooth roads and handles exactly as I want with epic track performance but one that breaks my teeth when I drive over painted road markings......and I wouldn't change a thing :D

Jimmi - Thanks for the kind offer, but I am not wanting to go as far as a ground control kit, as I believe that is more of a track bias. But I am always happy to meet up for a drive sometime :driving:

Looks like I may try the springs first due to the relatively cheap cost (can always sell on in a few weeks if they don't do what I want for a small hit) and if not, save some pennies for an adjustable kit.
